Sat.1 Gold is a German free-to-air television channel aimed at a females aged between 49 and 65. It is ProSiebenSat.1 Media’s sixth channel in Germany.
The channel mainly broadcasts German TV productions from the ProSiebenSat.1 archives. Sat.1 Gold will broadcast a spinoff of the magazine program Akte – Reporter kämpfen für Sie and Süddeutsche TV Thema. Also a daily midday magazine is planned to be broadcast. Programmes in the evening consists of documentaries, movies, thrillers and series.
The channel also shows tennis tournaments from ATP, WTA and ITF. A spinoff from the German sport show ran which is ran tennis started airing in April 2013.

Sat.1 Gold ist ein deutscher freier Fernsehsender. ProSiebenSat.1 ist der sechste Kanal von Media in Deutschland. Sat.1 Gold erhielt am 20. November 2012 eine Rundfunklizenz von der Kommission für Zulassung und Aufsicht der Medienanstalten (ZAK). Der Kanal wird von der Thüringischen Landesmedienanstalt (TLM) reguliert. Im Bundesland Thüringen. Der Sender wurde am 17. Januar 2013 um 20:13 Uhr MEZ mit einem 2-minütigen Countdown ausgestrahlt, gefolgt von einer Promotion und einem Puppenspiel. Der Sender sendete dann den deutschen Film The Whore.
Der Sender sendet hauptsächlich deutsche Fernsehproduktionen aus den Archiven von ProSiebenSat.1. Sat.1 Gold Magazine Show Akte – Reporter sendet eine Seite von kämpfen für Sie und Süddeutsche TV Thema. Es ist auch geplant, ein tägliches Mittagsmagazin zu veröffentlichen. Abendprogramme bestehen aus Dokumentationen, Filmen, Thrillern und Fernsehserien.
Der Kanal zeigt auch Tennisturniere von ATP, WTA und ITF. Ein Spin-off der deutschen Sportshow, die Tennis lief, wurde im April 2013 ausgestrahlt.
