History (History Channel) – American television station.
In the past, the channel broadcast documentaries related to historical topics, including: ancient and modern history, military history, armed conflicts and programs devoted to inventions, discoveries and technologies. In February 2009, the channel broadcast the first Polish production, Polish War Heroes. In turn, from March 2014, entertainment programs were gradually introduced, which over time completely filled the channel’s schedule. In December 2014, the H2 channel was launched, which took over the broadcasting of historical documentary programs previously broadcast by History.

Dawniej kanał nadawał filmy dokumentalne związane z tematyką historyczną, m.in. historię starożytną, współczesną, historię wojskowości, konfliktów zbrojnych oraz programy poświęcone wynalazkom, odkryciom i technologiom. Na kanale w lutym 2009 wyemitowano pierwszą polską produkcję Polscy bohaterowie wojenni. Z kolei od marca 2014 roku stopniowo wprowadzano programy rozrywkowe, które z czasem w całości wypełniły ramówkę kanału. W grudniu 2014 roku uruchomiono kanał H2, który przejął emisję historycznych programów dokumentalnych znanych wcześniej z anteny History.
